What is the Joint Disclosure Rule?
It’s the CFPB’s requirement to replace existing RESPA and TILA disclosures with a single disclosure to include information previously contained in two separate forms. Beginning , the new Loan Estimate will replace the current GFE and initial TIL and the new Closing Disclosure will replace the current HUD-1 and final TIL.
